This past week, I’ve had the honor of seeing one of my designs be printed on a T-shirt. Now, I’ve been teaching myself to screen print and could technically do the work myself, but it’s not quite as satisfying as a company professionally mass-producing your work. Over a year ago I created a commemorative design for the launch of community radio station WPPM 106.5FM, inspired by the seal of Philadelphia. Coming up on our first on-air fundraising effort, we needed new merch. My employer challenged me to adapt my old design for screen printed T-shirt. I did, and here is just one of the two versions that came to life.
Reclaim is the Philadelphia-based printing company that made the shirts a reality. Thank you Quan!
